Group Activities
Group activities are designed to provide age appropriate activities for learning and interacting with horses at our stable. Our programs emphasis on safety while having fun learning about horses!

Suitable for many youth groups, group activities can be adapted to fit your group’s specific needs.

Double K Stables offers General Horsemanship programs through our summer day "camps" for youth groups. The camp is set up with centers. Each camp begins with Safety and Barn Rules/Barn Tour. We then break into 3 or 4 groups and rotate between centers.(

The day camp can be scheduled from 9:30 am - 3:00 pm daily. Camps can be scheduled for 1, 2 or 3 consecutive days.

The cost of day camp is $50 per camper per day. The centers can be picked from the following:

• Guided Trail Ride
• Riding Lesson/Games on Horseback
• Horse Drawn Wagon Ride
• Mini Horse Team
• Grooming
• Barn Work
• Horses 101
• Round Pen Demonstration
  

Specific customized day camp programs for Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts are available. Double K Stables is an approved riding facility by the appropriate Scout Agencies. Please contact us for further details.
